We
are:
1.
We are, the Areopagus of the 96⚬and
The Grand Hierophant of the Free Illuminist Sovereign Sanctuary of
the Ancient and Primitive Rite of Memphis and Misraim and have
the prerogative and will to carry out this work, absent of any
competition on our part, with any other Society, Authority,
or Body, whatsoever.
2.
We are, committed to Charter, Found and Establish
Free Illuminist Lodges of the Ancient and Primitive Rite of
Memphis and Misraim that agree to function under the auspices of
the Free Illuminist model, and shall recognize as valid
those expressions of the Memphis and Misraim Rite or Rites,
for the Attainment of Illumination that may come through the
vehicle of the teachings, etc, of the various degree levels within
the rite , through, but not limited to: a) Ritual Initiation
(Traditional Memphis and Misraim), b) The Ecclesiastical
Revision Method of Memphis and Misraim, c) The Points
Chauds/Scrying schema devised via +Michael Bertiaux and +Allen
Greenfield, and, d) any combination thereof.
3.
We are, fully and vigorously, asserting and invoking our inherent
right and intent to conduct Rituals of Initiation of the
Traditional Rites of Memphis and Mizraim, and to interpret
and study the symbolism related to those Initiations
in the solemn and venerable manner passed down to us by our
predecessors; and we also assert the right to do so
entirely under the authority invested in the Areopagus of
the 96⚬and
The Grand Hierophant of the Free Illuminist Sovereign Sanctuary of
the Ancient and Primitive Rite of Memphis and Misraim; whilst
also honouring the methods of Ecclesiatical Revison, Points
Chauds, Scrying, and any combination of the above.
4.
We are, from the perspective of Ritual Initiation, asserting
and invoking all right and authority to utilize any and all
Signs, Words, Motions, Regalia, and
Gestures as the inherent birthright of the lineage
embodied in our Tradition.
5.
We are ,asserting and invoking our inherent right and authority
to utilize Traditional Titles as Roles to be assumed in our
Mystery Plays, and for those who have an Historical love of
the Tradition to assume those Titles as their Lodge
agrees, if in line with the tenets of Non-Hierarchical Free
Illuminism advocated by the Areopagus of the 96⚬and
The Grand Hierophant of the Free Illuminist Sovereign Sanctuary of
the Ancient and Primitive Rite of Memphis and Misraim.
6.
We are, reserving the right for some artistic license with any or all
Rituals, Titles, Words, Gestures, and
Signs, that we have inherited through the Tradition of
Memphis Mizraim; if in line with the same general tenets of
Non-Hierarchical Free Illuminism advocated by the Areopagus
of the 96⚬and
The Grand Hierophant of the Free Illuminist Sovereign Sanctuary of
the Ancient and Primitive Rite of Memphis and Misraim. Thus we
allow our Lodges room to prosper through the creative development
which is the true operative mechanism of working folk, and artistic
growth is proper in a True Guild of Facilitated Artisans and
Craftspersons, who are True Workfolk; Free,
Illuminated, and entirely in control of the product of
their own labours, and holding the means of production of
their own labour under the aegis of their own Guild, and within the
solid grasp of their own hands.
7.
We are, open to membership of all races, creeds, colours,
nationalities, and genders.
8.
We are, entirely Free, we don't require dues or fees of any
kind.
9.
We are, completely attune to the Universal Law of Charity, One
with Justice.
10.
We are, adamantly Non-Hierarchical. And though we at times use
Titles, which may falsely give that impression; we do not have
Masters but Facilitators, and the Mastery we
seek is over that Secret Path only made visible by the Light
of Occult Knowledge. And we do support the use of mystical
means for achieving this attainment.
We
are Not:
1.
We are neither, a form of, nor are we associated with, standard Blue
Lodge Freemasonry, which: "makes Masons", "teaches
morality", "uses symbolism as character building tools",
and whose goal is often described as, "to make good men even
better" (although good people do get better in our Society all
the time... that is not our purpose). However, we do recognize the
wonderful altruistic and humanitarian efforts and achievements of
standard or regular Freemasonry and applaud them, and
encourage their continued support in every way. And we do note the
value of a solid foundation in building the virtues.
2.
We are not, desirous of any competition or conflict whatsoever, with
any other body or bodies, that are regulated or officiated
by any other group, organization, person, sect,
or society outside the aegis of our own Areopagus of the
96⚬and
The Grand Hierophant of the Free Illuminist Sovereign Sanctuary of
the Ancient and Primitive Rite of Memphis and Misraim.
3.
We are not, a Fraternity, we are more rightly described as a
Free Illuminist or Congregational Illuminist Society;
and freely admit both Fratres et Sorores.
4.
We are not, an organization based on Hierarchy.
5.
We are not a charitable organization but do believe in that Universal
Law of Charity, One with Justice. And allow and encourage
charitable works in our Lodges.
